Abstract Objective To investigate the influence factors causing premature ovarian failure in the infertility patients. Method The patients with premature ovarian failure (POF) were evaluated from January 2010 to July 2014 in the people's liberation army 254 hospital reproductive center. Results The hereditary factors(11.8%), the immunology factors（20.1%）, the iatrogenic factors (radiation therapy, chemotherapy, hormone, ovarian blood flow is affected by surgery)and other factors (occupational pressure, excessive weight loss) are related. Conclusions The etiology of POF is complex and related to hereditary factors, autoimmune disease and iatrogenic injury. Studying the etiology to explore clinical treatment and improve life quality is the main theme of the paper. Egg donation may be the only way for fertility.
