Abstract 【Abstract】Postpartum depression (PPD) is a kind of mental disease with a high prevalence rate after
childbirth, which seriously endangers the mental and physical health of mothers and infants. The etiology ofPPD is still uncertain, and there is no consensus on how it affects the growth and development of infant andchild. This review summarized the latest research progress on the influence of PPD on children's physicaldevelopment, neuromotor development, language and cognitive development, providing a theoretical basisfor the timely diagnosis and correct intervention of PPD in clinical practice
