Abstract 【Abstract】Objectives To investigate pregnant women amniotic fluid volume abnormalities associated with fetal karyotypes．Methods abnormalities women were diagnosed amniotic fluid volume abnormalities by ultrasound during 21-35w．We suggested that clinical recommendations given amniocentesis or sampling umbilical cord，then cultured cells and analysed fetal karyotype．Results There are abnormal karyotypes 1 9 in all 135 cases，abnormal ratio of 14．1％．Polyhydramnios is 1 12 cases，17 cases of abnormal kalyotypes，abnormal ratio of 15．2％．Oligohydramnios is 23 eases，2 cases of abnormal kalyotype，the abnormal ratio of 8．7％．There ale 5 cases with trisomy 21，7 cases with trisomy 18(one case is chimeric)，4 cases with chromosome polymorphism variation，2 cases with 45，XO(one case is chimeric)，a case with Marker chromosome chimeric．Conclusion fetal chromosomal abnormalities may lead to amniotic fluid volume abnormalities during pregnancy，we should recommended pregnant women with abnormal amniotic fluid volume analysed fetal karyotype．Karyotype anlysis
of the fetus during pregnancy avoids boming defects and improving the overall quality of Chinese population．
