Abstract 【Abstract】 Objectives To explore the relationship between post-traumatic abortion and the trauma and forensic investigation point.Methods Twenty-nine cases of post-traumatic abortion collected from January 2005 to December 2012 were retrospectively analyzed. All the injured were carried out for exterior examination and medical examination, including vagina, cercix, ultrasound, β-HCG and pathological finding of vaginal discharge.Results Fifteen cases of discharge were caused of trauma; seven cases of discharge were caused of minor trauma; seven cases of discharge were not related with trauma. Forensic investigation results included moderate injury of 22 cases (76%), minor injury of 3 cases (10%), and non-trauma of 4 cases (14%).conclusion The most of post-traumatic abortion were affected by psychological stress, except for receiving violence of abdomen, back and other parts of body. The causes of traumatic abortion were complex, the most were trauma and psychological factors
