Abstract  【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the regulatory role of SET/TAF-I in normal and malignant hematopoiesis. Method The expression level of SET/TAF-I was respectively detected in MDS cells, AML cells, lymphocytes and zebrafish embryos by RT-PCR, Western blot and in situ analyses. The interaction between SET/TAF-I and C/EBPα was validated by Co-Immunoprecipitation (Co-IP). Result SET/TAF-I mRNA expresses in MDS cells, AML cells , lymphocytes as well as caudal hematopoietic tissue (CHT) at 3dpf in zebrafish embryos. SET/TAF-I binds to C/EBPα directly as indicated by Co-IP. Conclusion SET/TAF-I
might regulate the transcription of hematopoietic genes by interacting with C/EBPα.
