results in patients with cervical disease. Methods A total of 1 963 patients with cervical disease from the
First People's Hospital of Jiangxia District, Wuhan City between August 2017 and August 2018 received
HPV genotyping using fluorescence quantitative PCR and histopathological examination. Results
Among the 1 963 patients,447 with HPV infection and 17 kinds of HPV genotypes were detected,
their average age were (39.0±1.4) years old. Of which 435 patients were infected by high-risk types
and 12 cases were infected by low-risk types (repeated calculation for multiple infections). The infection
rate of HPV52 was the highest with 18.6%, followed by HPV16 with 10.7%, and type 18 and type 6/11
also account for a certain proportion (4.0% and 2.7% respectively). Cervical intraepithelial neoplasia
(CIN) Ⅱand Ⅲ were detected in 70 cases, and 29 cases of cervical cancer. The incidence of
CINⅡand Ⅲand cervical cancer in HPV16 infection group was significantly higher than that in
HPV18, 39, 53 and 58 infected patients (χ2 =7.64, 12.17, 10.22, 10.21, respectively, P<0.05).
Conclusions High-risk HPV16, HPV18 accounted for a high proportion of all HPV positive genotypes
in Jiangxia district, and low-risk HPV6/11 also accounted for a certain proportion. The tetravalentvaccine has significant preventive significance for these patient s with cervical diseases.
