Abstract
As the cellular powerhouse and signaling hub, mitochondrial dysfunction is intimately associated with a broad spectrum of diseases. Mitochondrial multi-omics analysis provides a powerful tool for understanding mitochondria at the systems biology level. This review presents the latest advances in mitochondrial multi-omics mass spectrometry technologies, focusing on breakthroughs in technical integration, data acquisition, and biological discovery. It also analyzes current technical challenges and difficulties in biological interpretation, and offers perspectives on future directions.
