Abstract: 【Abstract】 Objective To explore changes in the anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidation function of highdensity lipoprotein (HDL) in pregnant women with hyperlipidemia. Methods According to 1 ∶ 1 ratio, 21 pregnant women with hyperlipidemia (observation group) and 21 healthy pregnant women (control group) were selected from the Department of Obstetrics in General Hospital of Northern Theater Command from August to October 2015. Blood lipids, including total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), highdensity lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) were tested by automatic biochemical analyzer. Serum myeloperoxidase (MPO), C-reactive protein (CRP), paraoxonase-1 (PON1), sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) and serum amyloid A (SAA) levels were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The differences of the above indexes between the two groups were analyzed by independent sample t test or Mann-Whitney U test. Results The serum levels of PON1[(8 ± 9) μg/L] and S1P [(287±152) nmol/L] in observation group were lower than those in the control group [(24±62) μg/L,(826±644) nmol/L respectively] , and SAA [(4.5±1.8) mg/L], TC [(5.8±1.0) mmol/L], TG [(3.0± 1.1) mmol/L], LDL-C [(3.4±0.9) mmol/L] were higher than those in the control group [(3.2±1.5) mg/L,(4.8±0.7) mmol/L, (1.7±0.3) mmol/L, (2.5±0.7) mmol/L respectively], and all of the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The differences of CRP, MPO and HDL-C between the two groups were notsignificant (P>0.05). Conclusions Hyperlipidemia may be associated with the decline in anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidation function of HDL. SAA , PON1 and S1P may be used as indicators to monitor the changes of the disease.
