Abstract: 【Abstract】 Objective To explore the effect of continuous care information management on the growth and development of high-risk premature infants. Method A total of 36 high-risk premature infants born in the People's Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from June to November 2021 were selected as the control group by convenience sampling method, and routine extended care was provided. Forty-two premature infants born in the same hospital from December 2021 to May 2022 were selected as the observation group, and information management of extended care was implemented on the basis of routine extended care. Physical development, neuropsychological development and parents' satisfaction withcontinuous care services at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months of age were compared between the two groups. Data wereanalyzed using χ2 test or continuously adjusted χ2 test, t-test and repeated measure ANOVA. Result Therewere no significant differences between groups and interaction effects (all P>0.05) in head circumference, body weight and body length of the two groups at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months after birth, but there was significant difference in time effect between the two groups (all P<0.05). Comparison of neuropsychological developmentbetween the two groups at different time points showed statistically significant differences in adaptability and fine motor (adaptability: Ftime=515.596, Fintergroup=27.202, Finteraction=4.524; fine motor: Ftime=1 098.758,Fintergroup=128.512, Finteraction=3.87; all P<0.05); there were statistically significant differences in the time and intergroup effects of big movement, language and personal social interaction (big movement: Ftime=708.992,Fintergroup=39.285, language: Ftime=376.271, Fintergroup=23.347; personal social interaction: Ftime=257.295,Fgroup=40.763; all P<0.05); there was no significant difference in the interaction effects of language, personal social interaction and big movement (all P>0.05). The satisfaction indexes of the observation group were better than those of the control group [nurses' appearance and service attitude (11.71±0.51) vs (11.06±0.79) points, the continuity of care service ability (42.76±1.16) vs (29.72±2.71) points, the humanistic literacyof nurses (11.88±0.40) vs (8.72±1.26) points, and the overall evaluation of continuous care service(11.73±0.63) vs (7.83±1.34) points, all P<0.001]. Conclusion Continuous care information managementcan improve the level of neuropsychological development of high-risk premature infants and parents'satisfaction with continuous care services outside the hospital.
