Abstract: 【Abstract】Central vascular catheterization is an indispensable treatment technology in neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), and its complications can not be ignored, such as catheter-related blood flow infection, thrombus and so on. Central catheter-associated thrombosis (CCAT) can be asymptomatic, and vascular embolism may occur, which is a serious threat to the life and health of newborns. With the popularization and application of bedside ultrasound in NICU, more and more CCAT has been found and paid more and more attention, but clinicians are still confused about its treatment and management strategy. This article reviews the clinical management of CCAT in NICU.
