摘要水、电解质是人体体液的主要组成成分，而体液广泛分布于细胞内外，具有相对稳定的酸碱度，其稳定状态为人体正常新陈代谢所必需。人体具有完善的体液量和渗透压调节功能，使人体体液及其组成成分在很小范围内波动，保持体液量、电解质、渗透压、酸碱度等的相对稳定。在孕期出现疾病等有害因素，可破坏上述调节机制或超过其调节范围，导致母体水、电解质及酸碱平衡失常，出现内环境紊乱。虽然宫内胎儿有胎盘屏障和羊水作为缓冲，但母体持久的水、电解质及酸碱平衡紊乱可通过多种途径影响胎儿及新生儿。
