Abstract: 【Abstract】Gastroesophageal reflux (GER) is a common clinical problem in preterm infants and has significant impact on their short-term and long-term health. This paper comprehensively analyzes the application of postural management in the treatment of GER in premature infants, and discussed the effect and potential risk of different postural management in alleviating GER symptoms. The effects of postural adjustment on neurodevelopment and long-term growth of preterm infants are reviewed. It is pointed out that proper postural management not only helps to improve early physiological symptoms, but also may have positive effects on long-term health of preterm infants. However, how to strike a balance between alleviating GER symptoms and minimizing risks is the focus and difficulty of postural management. Clinical attention should be paid to the long-term effects and safety of different postural management strategies to provide more accurate treatment guidance
