Abstract: 【Abstract】Near-infrared reflectance spectroscopy (NIRS) is a reliable and non-invasive method for monitoring regional tissue oxygen saturation, enabling earlier detection of changes in tissue oxygenation, blood flow, and perfusion. Currently, intestinal NIRS monitoring has been applied in various neonatal ontexts, including healthy newborns, neonatal feeding, necrotizing enterocolitis, and blood transfusion. This article reviews the feasibility, limitations, and related research on the application of NIRS for monitoring intestinal oxygenation in neonates.
