摘要神经管缺陷（neural tube defect，NTD）是胚胎发育早期因神经管闭合失败而导致的严重先天性缺陷，包括无脑畸形、脊柱裂、脑膨出。脊柱裂是NTD最常见表型。如果胎儿的中枢神经系统出现缺陷，会严重影响胎儿发育，给孕妇及其家庭带来很大的心理压力和经济负担。围受孕期补充叶酸可预防NTD的发生，大大降低胎儿发生NTD的风险^［1-2］，但每年仍有许多NTD新发病例，且病因和发病机制尚不清楚^［3］。孕期叶酸缺乏、负性生活事件、糖尿病等均是潜在的病因^［4-5］。如何降低NTD患儿的出生率是重要的公共卫生问题。
